The Legend of Santa Claws
There once was a kind lobster who lived in the sea,
He was a little different than the typical lobster would normally be.
His claws were not the same exact size,
One was bigger and stronger than all the claws of the other lobster guys.
The other crustaceans would call him mean names,
He was different so they left him out of all the fun lobster games.
One December eve, he was alone figuring out what to do,
When into the water a shocking thing came- crashing through!
A man with a long white beard, dressed all in red,
With reindeers pulling toys all packed into a sled-
He crashed through the waves and down into the sea,
The sled got trapped in the reeds and could not get free!
The unique lobster raced into action to save the day,
His big claw was perfect for helping Santa to free his sleigh.
The unlikely Christmas Eve team, got the sleigh ready to go,
But before Santa took off, he let out a thankful, “Ho, Ho, Ho!”......
“I need help delivering holiday gifts, to the good sea creatures under the waves,
You would be the perfect crustacean for the job, fast-thinking, and brave.”
So the lobster became “Santa Claws” - to bring Christmas to the world of the fish,
Teaching us to embrace what makes us unique- is his holiday wish!
